Even good medicine won’t work if you’re not seen as a whole person.
I created it for all the people who’ve felt dismissed, gaslit, or completely exhausted by a system that doesn’t have time to care. People who are tired of “everything looks fine” when everything in your body says you’re not.
After years of working in busy hospitals across Detroit, New York, Phoenix, and LA, I realized something:

When I stepped away from medicine to heal from cancer, I kept running into former patients. They’d stop me in the grocery store or carpool line and say, “I miss you. I can’t find anyone who listens like you.”

Cortney Jennings is a Licensed Practical Nurse and has been working alongside providing compassionate, patient-centered care. As the Concierge Nurse at JJ Burgin, MD Concierge Family Medicine, she is dedicated to helping patients navigate their healthcare journey while ensuring they receive personalized attention and exceptional service.
In addition to her nursing experience, Cortney is certified in neuromodulator injections and IV therapy. She is passionate about helping patients look and feel their best through aesthetic and wellness services that support confidence, health, and overall well-being. Her clinical background, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care allow her to provide a safe, comfortable, and personalized experience for every patient.
Cortney’s approach aligns with the practice’s philosophy of relationship-centered care by taking the time to listen, build trust, and support each patient’s individual healthcare and wellness goals. She is committed to helping patients feel informed, valued, and confident throughout every step of their care.
Bailey Palmer is a licensed aesthetician specializing in SkinPen® microneedling, medical grade chemical peels, and personalized skincare treatments. Since becoming licensed in 2021, she has focused on helping patients achieve healthy, confident skin through thoughtful care and meaningful results. A Shreveport native and LSU graduate, Bailey is one of only forty SkinCeuticals Professional Aestheticians in the nation, reflecting her commitment to advanced education and evidence based skincare.
Bailey is especially passionate about helping busy women simplify their skincare routines and feel confident without the overwhelm of complicated regimens. Her approach aligns naturally with Dr. Burgin’s philosophy of personalized, relationship centered care by taking time to listen, build trust, and create treatment plans tailored to each individual. Outside the office, Bailey is a wife and mother to a sweet little boy, with another baby on the way, and she looks forward to welcoming patients into her care.
As a physician, cancer survivor, mother, and mental health advocate, I believe deeply in the resilience of the human spirit and our ability to incorporate self-care into our daily lives. I’ve walked through the fire and returned with more empathy, clarity, and purpose.
